We have a wonderful lineup of speakers for our 2010 conference. Our theme this year is Dancing with Words. How fun is that!? As writers we try to make our words flow to make an easier read. We want readers to move through every page with ease. So you see, it is kind of like dancing with words.

This years conference will be Saturday, July. 10th. We hope to get discounted rooms at a nearby motel so our attendants can stay in one spot, AND, it's close to the Library Station. Click the link below to view the Dancing With Words 2010 Writers Conference Schedule.

Registration fees includes goodie bags, great door prizes, a catered lunch. wonderful speakers with lots of great information for us to learn about writing and much more.

You can register online with our Electronic Conference Registration Form, or if you'd like to register by the U.S. Postal service you can print your E-Z Print Conference Registration Form.

If you would like to secure a motel room for the night of July 9th, there are discounted rates for Romancing the Ozarks attendees available at the Sleep Inn just off South Campbell on Camino St., conveniently located just across the street from the Library Center. Rates for a double room are $57.49 and eservations need to be made by June 25th in order to secure a room. Be sure to tell them you are with the Ozarks Romance Authors conference. Otherwise the rate will be $79.99. If you decide to book a room after June 25th, it will be based on availability. Rooms need to be paid for by 6:00 p.m Thursday, July 8th.

Kimberly Killion

2009 RITA® finalist, KIMBERLY KILLION, writes Sexy Medieval Romances for Kensington Publishing. Her debut book, HER ONE DESIRE, won the 2009 Booksellers Best Award for both Long Historical and Best First Book and received an Award of Merit in the 2009 HOLT Medallion. She was recognized in the 2009 National Readers’ Choice Awards, the 2009 Golden Quill Awards, and the 2009 More Than Magic Contest. Kimberly’s second Scottish-set novel, HIGHLAND DRAGON, released in October 2009. Aside from writing, Kimberly teaches graphic/web design and lives in Illinois with her husband and two children. Ginger is Editor of Marriage Partnership magazine, a publication of Christianity Today International. She has also worked on the editorial staff of Leadership journal, a publication for pastors; as an associate editor of MP’s sister publication Today’s Christian Woman; and an assistant editor of Preaching Today. She has been a columnist for Let’s Worship and has published more than 150 articles. In addition, Ginger has appeared on national venues such as CNN's Nancy Grace and Family Life radio.

She’s a pastor’s kid (both her parents are ordained ministers), which she used as a loose basis for her novel. She lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband, Scott; her Doberman puppy, Bella; her book collection; her husband’s inventions; and her dusty, out-of-tune piano.
